Who would you BE, and how would you FEEL, if you were FULLY loving and accepting of yourself?
My passion is helping women to shift their internal world; waking them up to the unconscious beliefs, thoughts and behaviours that are holding them back. The ‘how to’ of making change is rarely the issue, it’s the psychology behind why you can’t do it, that’s the inner subconscious work that’s necessary. True lasting change all stems from changing your own inner workings.
How we feel about ourselves is hugely affected by external influences – society, upbringing, culture, education, religion, traumas etc. We shape ourselves based on other peoples’ opinions, expectations and wishes (until we no longer do)! The truth is though, we don’t even realise we are doing this until we delve within and start to get curious about why things may not be working out for us or why we find ourselves in the same repeated patterns! Having this unconscious need to ‘fit in’ and be accepted by others, can mean we completely lose sight of who we really are.
Do you often feel caught in:
- Self-sabotage and negative self-talk
- People pleasing (saying ‘yes’ even when you really don’t want to!)
- Silencing your own needs in favour of others’
- Codependency (a ‘fixer’ who needs to be needed)
- Imposter syndrome
- Generally feeling down or sad
- Overworking or feel a need to over achieve
- Constantly complaining, criticising or judging
- Hiding your vulnerability
- Feel guilty if you stop or rest
Wearing masks and not being who you truly are leads to exhaustion and burn out (among many other things). It actually requires more energy to play roles than be your authentic self. We waste our vital life-force energy trying to edit, hide, alter, censor and overexert ourselves in order to please others. Symptoms can also appear in the body such as tension, tightness of muscles, aches, pains, brain fog, headaches and inflexibility. I ticked a lot of these boxes. The funny thing is though, this was all unconscious to me.
Now my mission is to help other women to liberate themselves of the sh*t that is weighing them down, while also learning to fully believe, love and accept themselves exactly as they are because living any other way doesn’t work, period. Not living in your own truth leaves you frazzled, anxious, burnt out, and unable to follow through on our own dreams, goals and desires.
I’m here to tell you there is another way! When you do your inner work and reconnect to who you really are (beyond the negative chatter and beliefs in your mind), you empower yourself and everything shifts. As a result you feel more authentic, in alignment, more joyful, and you realise you are enough, no matter what anyone else thinks. With that comes a huge sense of inner relief and freedom!
Operating in this way is your innate way of being. It takes a bit of rewiring, patience and self-compassion, but it is possible to change course and shift to what I call INSIDE OUT living. You can create your life based on what ‘success’ looks like for you, and feel amazing about it (*note – your ‘success’ may look different to other people’s and that’s perfectly normal. We are not mass manufactured robots built to be the same, we’re more like trees in a forest, all unique and special in our own is-ness).
This is where I step in as a coach – to lead you down a path I’ve already trodden. I can’t do the work for you, but I can support you and help you cultivate this new mode of being. I see my all my clients as whole, creative and resourceful, completely capable of making the right decisions for themselves. It’s my role to help you remember this, and see where you have been giving away your power or silencing your own voice, and empower yourself again. I help you move beyond your current conditioning and expand your perspective of what’s possible for you. You have one wild and precious life, what are you choosing to do with it?
I hold a compassionate, non-judgmental, confidential space for clients to come as they are.
Each session is 75 minutes and I incorporate a holistic approach for change focusing on our 4 bodies – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I use my own DART Process (which stands for Desire, Awareness, Reshape & Tools) to help you create lasting change. Sessions are done online via Zoom making it easier to fit your schedule. A minimum of 4 sessions are booked at a time in order to gain momentum.
